I had heard about Dream Kabob’s good koobideh for a while now. While visiting my family in Las Vegas, we decided to have lunch there. Lets just say there was nothing dreamy about the kabobs!! Our server seemed to be under influence of something. Prices a bit high considering the quality and portions.
Kashk o Bademjan
We got two order of this dish and it was just OK. Eggplant should have been roasted a bit longer in order to produce a more creamy dish.
Shirazi Salad
A typical cucumber, tomato and onion salad.
Beef Koobideh, Chicken Koobideh, Beef Barg, Lamb Chops
Chicken koobideh was not as flavorful as beef but it was tender. Barg was like beef jerky and at the end while talking to our waitress, she admitted that they use average quality beef rather than filet. I wish she would have told us that before wasting our money. Lamb chops were priced higher than the listed price on the menu and unfortunately they were overlooked.
Adas Polo
Rice with lentils, fried onion and raisins. It was a good vegetarian rice dish.
We also had the vegetarian Eggplant Gheymeh stew at $15.50, which was just Ok and Hummus that was spicy.
