Ellē has been on the top of many lists for a while now. Our experience was good but not amazing due to two problems. Almost every dish we tried with the exception of the broccoli and maybe the scallops were too salty for our taste. The second problem was the fact that most of the menu items at the time we dined there were carb (bread) heavy. Service was friendly.

Charred Broccoli Salad Mustard Green Pesto, Parmesan, Sourdough Crouton
This was one of our favorite dishes. The charred broccoli was very smoky and went well with the pesto and the crunchy croutons.

Cape May Scallops Miso Butter, Seaweed, Upland cress
Very sweet scallops cooked perfectly. The miso butter and the seaweed added a lot flavor to the dish.

Grilled Kofte Elysian Fields Lamb, Tzatziki, Pickled Red Onion
It was two small lamb kofte. It was tasty but nothing to sing about. The Tzatziki was too heavy in the cucumber department.

Clam Spaetzle Black Pepper Spaetzle, Little Neck Clams, Zesty Breadcrumbs
A little heavy in spatzle and light in the clams. It was a little too salty also. The bread crumbs added great tasty crunch.

Tonnato Toast Whipped Tuna Confit, Capacolla, Arugula
This dish was my second favorite after the broccoli. Lots of flavor. Tuna was creamy and capacolla added some saltines.

Grilled Kimchi Toast Country Loaf, Labneh, XO Sauce
My brother really wanted to try this dish. I took a very tiny bite and found it beyond salty and not worth the $15.
